About the role:

The Accounting Manager is a key leader of the accounting organization. You will be responsible for managing the monthly close process, establishing the team goals, and identifying how to scale our people and processes. In addition, you will manage external audits, prepare for internal control compliance, and mentor and develop a high-performing team.

This role is designated @Hybrid and is required to be in the Bellevue, Washington office 1-2 days a week.

  • Partner with accounting leadership to define key finance and accounting initiatives and roadmap.
  • Provide accounting policy guidance for new transactions as well as ensuring past policy remains applicable
  • Spearhead the adoption of new accounting standards
  • Manages and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach, assigning accountability, setting clear objectives and adjusting to priorities as needed
  • Prepare the Company for growth scalability and public company readiness
  • Design and implement SOX or equivalent key controls in the accounting processes

  • 7+ years of accounting experience including working experience with a public-traded company
  • BS in Finance or Accounting, CPA required. Big 4 experience is highly preferred.
  • Driven, adaptable and thrives in fast-paced startup environment
  • Passionate about coaching and developing team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
