About the role:

OfferUp is hiring a Contract Technical Sourcer who will work with the broader recruiting team and key business partners to drive strategies for candidate attraction, and sourcing.  In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a top-tier hiring experience within a strong service-oriented culture. In this role, you will…

Here’s more of what you will get to do:

  • Provide sourcing and potential for full life-cycle, high volume technical recruiting in an ever-changing startup environment.
  • Partner with the recruiting teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage candidate and hiring manager expectations through a deep understanding of return on investment.
  • Utilize a variety of recruiting techniques to source, evaluate and hire top-tier talent.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have: (All OfferUp employees are required to receive Covid-19 vaccinations unless an employee is in need of an exemption from this policy due to a medical reason, or because of a sincerely held religious belief.)

  • 7+ years previous sourcing
  • Experience sourcing software engineering and engineering leadership talent in competitive markets.
  • Experience with out of the box sourcing methods
  • Demonstrated deep research sourcing strategy creation.
  • Previous start-up experience; experience educating and selling candidates on job opportunities.
  • Organized, analytical, self-starter, and detail-oriented.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Helpful, but not required 

  • Experience with Greenhouse ATS
  • Experience with Google Office Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, etc)
