OfferUp is seeking a Senior Partnerships Manager to develop, grow, and manage relationships with many of OfferUp’s revenue generating business partners.  This role is pivotal in partnering with business development, product management, and business operations in supporting OfferUp’s strategic revenue initiatives.

As an OfferUp business development team member, you will own the day to day management of key partnerships that contribute to OfferUp’s advertising revenue . You will be responsible for monitoring partner performance, identifying revenue optimization and growth opportunities, and working closely with product management to ensure partner compliance. You will be responsible for developing and fostering strong relationships with our partners and be comfortable communicating and working across all levels of the organization.  As a Senior Partnerships Manager responsible for developing and growing revenue partnerships you will work with and partner across many internal functions at OfferUp ranging from Engineering, Finance, Product, and Legal.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and growing revenue generating partnerships, ideally in the online and digital advertising space.  Exhibit strong analytical as well as interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative climate to problem solve to successful outcomes. The role will require expertise both in working with senior level leadership at our partners and internal and external team project management.

You will:

  1. Manage existing and future strategic partners to ensure successful technical integrations and business partnerships.
  2. ​​Evaluate and engage with partners for revenue growth opportunities.
  3. Develop the partnership management process and playbook to build a scalable and successful partner management function.
  4. Support OfferUp’s overall business goals by working closely with business development and product management to align our needs and objectives with our partners.

This role reports to the VP of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships, is based in Bellevue, WA, and requires up to 10% domestic travel (when safe to do so).

What you will do:

  • Own the day to day relationships with existing revenue generating partners and partnerships.
  • Work closely with business development and product management to onboard new partners.
  • Contribute to the business development team strategy and process.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to ensure the needs of both OfferUp and the partner are being met and leading to successful, long term partnerships.
  • Lead, track, and report on all partner activity and results.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 7 or more years of Partner Management and/or Business Development with a tech company.
  • Self-starter, competitive, optimistic, confident, and team player.
  • Ability to influence and problem solve to successful outcomes.
  • Experience in online / digital advertising and advertising technologies.
  • Ability to establish credibility and work with business and technical owners.
  • Excellent relationship management, communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a quickly changing, fast-paced environment.
  • Resourceful and adaptable, and can identify creative solutions that may not be “how it is done” in this space.

Compensation Range: $140,000-$210,000

OfferUp offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. Individual salaries within our ranges are determined through a variety of factors including, but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  All roles will receive equity in OfferUp as part of their compensation, the amount of equity varying depending on the individual’s level and experience.

In addition to our compensation package, this role is eligible to enroll in health insurance, healthcare savings and spending accounts, retirement savings benefits (401(k) plan with match), basic and voluntary life insurance, disability benefits, and paid time off for sick leave, family and/or medical leave, vacation, and 12 company holidays. In regard to vacation time, OfferUp has a flexible vacation policy and, in general, full-time exempt employees will be expected to take 3-5 weeks (15-30 days) of pre-planned vacation time per year.  Vacation needs are flexible and will naturally vary from year to year based on individual circumstances and business needs. In regard to sick time, all full-time employees (exempt and non-exempt) will be granted 12 days (96 hours) of sick time per year (pro-rated if they start a date other than January 1).
